In recent years the woodworking industry has
seen an exponential increase in the use of
plastics as decorative overlays. What began
as simple flat lamination of flexible PVC
has now grown into 3 dimensional thermoforming
for the Kitchen Cabinet, RTA Furniture,
Store Fixture, Component and Sign Industries.
The manufacturers of decorative overlays have
responded by providing a myriad of formulations
and styles such as whites, solids, suede’s and true wood grains even metal
finishes. The plastics have been bonded,
capped, top coated, reverse printed, embossed and formulated for UV resistance.
The PSI Model 859DS laminates overlays from 6ml to 1/4" thickness. We guarantee repeatability with overlays like:
