Alternative Vacuum Forming Machines

ZMD is an international firm that sold machines in 28 countries so far, including Europe and the USA.

As you probably know, the European customer is very tough with his requirements for quality and finish. He is ready to pay much more for a high quality machine, in some cases, up to 2-3 times the cost of similar American machines.

To be able to penetrate the European market, the only way to do so is to offer Top of the Line vacuum forming machines. ZMD has changed its machine's appearance and has equipped the machines with major systems to satisfy EC European market requirements, including some systems that are made by European manufacturers such as BUSCH vacuum pump, KOYO controller, etc. Those are state of the art vacuum forming machines, they are maybe the best in the industry and therefore they are obviously more expensive than the other option, the MM Machines (see below).

It sounds like ZMD manufactures very expensive machines. This is not true. ZMD offers the most beautiful and powerful machines in the market at an unbeaten price. Most of the machines that have been sold in the USA recently are of the European style. However, we found that some American firms don't need that European look and, therefore, we have decided to offer almost the same performance machine with standard appearance and standard American made systems.

We developed a second line under the name of Minute Man (MM) Machines to comply with this purpose. Now, we are capable to offer excellent new machines at a lower price, sometimes lower than used machines of the same size, but with the well known warranty and logistics support of ZMD.

Minute Man machines are very good machines . They are fully automatic and microprocessor controlled. Those machines have most of the ZMD machines' features as described above for HD-300 and HT-400 series machines, but not all of them. When the size of the machine is big (4'x7' and up), the MM machine is heavy duty as much as a ZMD machine.

In order to save money on the production of the Minute Man machines, we have to "cut the corners". The bigger the machine is, as big as the saving is on the machine cost. The savings can vary from 15%-25%. If you want to learn more about the Minute Man machines, please give us a call.
